Things to Review Before Signing an Employment Contract

09 Aug 2026 · Putra Jasa

An employment contract is the legal foundation between employee and employer. Before signing, make sure to check: (1) the parties' identities and the agreement type (fixed-term/permanent); (2) job description, working hours, and location; (3) salary, allowances, and overtime scheme; (4) leave entitlements, social security (BPJS), and facilities; (5) confidentiality and non-compete clauses; (6) termination mechanisms and compensation.

If any clause is unclear, request a written explanation or consult a legal advisor. Putra Jasa is ready to review your employment contracts to protect both parties' rights.
